Those who come via airplane, please note that some low cost companies such as Ryan Air operates via Girona Airport, not Barcelona Airport. There are several buses that connect Girona Airport with Barcelona, that will leave you at the Estació del Nord, which is nearby Arc de Triompf subway and railroad station (Line 2-Red- in the Barcelona subway system)

There is a ferry that travels several times per week between Barcelona and Genoa.
